This first policy brief released within the framework of the GRC-led Al-Jisr project for on EU-GCC Public Diplomacy and Outreach Activities, provides concrete suggestions as to how the member states of the European Union and the Gulf Cooperation Council should expand their areas of cooperation when it comes to the field of higher education. The report highlights new areas and ideas to be contemplated by officials and policy practitioners from both the European and the Gulf sides when it comes to devising new programs of cooperation in addition to outlining as to how both the EU and the GCC should seek to engage with various facets of reform efforts.

The Gulf Research Center (GRC) seeks to promote and conduct research and studies on the Gulf region in a sustained bid to better comprehend and analyze the issues related to the GCC countries. The GRC currently plans to publish a special series of Iraqi studies, exclusively dedicated to the analysis and close examination of the political, economic and social developments unfolding in Iraq and their ramifications for the region.

Selected Translations from IISS Publications
The Gulf Research Center has extended ongoing cooperation with the London-based International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) by signing a wide-ranging translation agreement, which allows GRC to translate a wide variety of IISS publications from English into Arabic.
