Requirements and Responsibilities:

Bachelor's degree in Web development or related field, or relevant experience.

Solid knowledge and experience in programming applications.

Solid knowledge and experience in Following CMS (WordPress – Laravel).

Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS.

Proficient in My SQL.

Determining user needs by analyzing technical requirements.

Back up files from Web sites to local directories for recovery.

Identifying problems uncovered by customer feedback and testing, and correcting or referring problems to appropriate personnel for correction.

Knowledge of programming language and technical terminology. 

Basic knowledge on Mobile app development editing and publishing on apple store and google play

Able to solve complex problems.

3+ years of experience.

Job Title: Translator

Job Description:

The Gulf Research Center (GRC) is looking to hire a Translator to interpret written and audio pieces in different languages, making sure to maintain their original meaning, format, and tone. Translator responsibilities include reading and thoroughly understanding the context of given material, using specialized dictionaries and translation tools and proofreading finished pieces of work.


Translator Job Description:

  • Ability to read and thoroughly understanding the context of given material, using specialized dictionaries and translation tools
  • Research topic-specific terminology
  • Convert text and audio recordings from one language (specify language 1 or language 2) to one or more others (specify language 3 or language 4)
  • Ensure translated content conveys original meaning and tone
  • Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy
  • Follow up with GRC staff to ensure translation meets their needs
  • Edit content with the goal of maintaining its original format

Translator Qualifications:

  • Proven work experience as a translator, interpreter or similar role
  • Fluency in at least two languages (specify languages) in addition to your native language
  • Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors
  • Good knowledge of content editing tools
  • Familiarity with translation software
  • Time-management skills
  • BSc or equivalent in translation, interpreting or similar field
