GCC-EU webinar series on the issue of “Promoting Transport”

The Gulf Research Center would like to cordially invite you to the tenth session in its GCC-EU webinar series on the issue of “Promoting Transport” on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, from 12:00 to 1:30 pm (CET) / 1:00 to 2:30 pm (KSA). Following our opening round on November 29 on the broader parameters of current EU-GCC ties, the series has since looked at specific issues that are outlined in the EU’s Joint Communication on a “Strategic Partnership with the Gulf.” 

 

With our series, the Gulf Research Center wants to provide a platform where policy officials and specialists from the EU and the GCC side can exchange views and present perspectives in order to put forward concrete suggestions for policy implementation as the way forward.

 

It is our pleasure to have Mr. Carlos Bermejo Acosta, Head of the Aviation Agreements Unit of the Directorate General for Mobility and Transport (DG MOVE) at the European Commission; Mr. Ralf Zinelabedin, Consultant to the Director of Europe & Middle East at DB Engineering & Consulting; and Dr. Dua Rubal, Fellow at King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC). Dr. Christian Koch, Director of Research at the Gulf Research Center, will moderate the session.
