As part of the Gulf Research Center’s (GRC) Research Program on GCC-Latin America relations, Dr. Abdulaziz Sager, Chairman of the GRC, hosted a meeting on December 4, 2024, at the GRC office in Riyadh with HE Andy Rodriguez Duran, Ambassador of the Dominican Republic to Saudi Arabia.
The meeting, attended by senior staff and researchers from the GRC, focused on the strengthening of ties between the Dominican Republic and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. Discussions explored opportunities for collaboration between Dominican think tanks and the GRC, emphasizing the shared interest in fostering deeper engagement between the two regions.
The Gulf Labour Markets, Migration, and Population Programme (GLMM) of the Gulf Research Center (GRC), in collaboration with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS), is organizing a two-day seminar titled The Future of Labour and Migration in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf. The event, held from December 1-2, 2024, features 14 presentations addressing various aspects of labour and migration in the region
