Dr. Abdulaziz Sager, Chairman of the Gulf Research Center (GRC), participated in the Council of Council’s 11th virtual conference organized by the Council on Foreign Relations on February 6, 2025. The topic of the meeting focused on the “Shifts in Global Trade.” The discussion looked at how the trade environment has changed in the past decade, including changes in trade policy including tariffs, export controls, and rules of origin requirements, as well as the future of major trade agreements.

The roundtable was moderated by Dr. Abdulaziz Sager, Chairman of the Gulf Research Center, and attended by HRH Prince Turki Al-Faisal, Chairman of the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies, and HE Dr. Majid Al Qasabi, Minister of Commerce of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The roundtable brought together leading experts to explore the evolving relationship between Saudi Arabia and Germany.
