Both sides discussed areas of mutual interests and regional developments.
On May 14, 2025, Dr. Abdulaziz Sager, Chairman of the Gulf Research Center (GRC), met with Prof. Janice Stein, Founding Director of the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy, Amb. Arif Lalani, Distinguished Fellow at the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy, and Chiran Perera, Canadian Foreign Service Officer, at the GRC’s office in Riyadh.
The meeting focused on strengthening mutual relations and enhancing research cooperation and joint activities between the two institutions.

The meeting focused on issues of mutual interest, current regional developments, and the upcoming EU-GCC MENA Political Directors’ Meeting taking place in Riyadh.
